Operation Address The Homeless

221 N 7th Street Allentown PA 18102

In memory of our Co-Founder Dean Smith

It is the mission of Operation Address the Homeless (OATH) to strengthen and support our communities by providing meals, showers, haircuts, clothing, and job opportunities to the homeless, and to advocate for collaborative locally driven means to end and prevent homelessness helping improve the quality of life.

Our primary aim is to offer a stabilizing base of support for homeless men, women, and families as they transition back into our community. We believe our services should actively involve those in need of assistance through financial, and life skills, and be of the highest quality and delivered with compassion and understanding. We subscribe to the tenet that all human beings have the inherent right to be treated with dignity and respect and we strive to embody and pass on those qualities to all we serve and those we maintain relationships with in our communities.

COVID - 19

We know the services and options available to our area homeless are being limited by this coronavirus outbreak. We are going to remain open in a limited capacity in order to service the homeless community during this unprecedented epidemic.

Operation Address The Homeless is currently open for services during our normal hours of operation. Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 4-7 pm. Sundays we do  Pizza at 5 pm. We will have some limitations on how many people can be inside the building at a time. Our volunteers will be working diligently to clean and sanitize the building. We will also be following the CDC's guidelines located here.
